weeks. Proper spelling of names
needed. Your company emblem
will be returned with the finished
art.
Firefighter name slates have a
high-gloss finish, drilled holes and
rawhide hangers.
First, the slate is
coated with a primer
and the image is blocked
according to colors.
After the background is
established, borders are
painted. I added two
emblems for balance.
Straight lines are crucial!!
The smallest details must be
as exact as possible.

More text has been
added below the
fire truck. The last
step after the final
tweaking is the coats
of varnish. Nail wholes will be drilled and if the
slate is too large or feels
brittle as this one did, it
gets mounted on a piece
of wood. The finished
piece is ready to hang.
