Kids love to get their pictures taken
behind these Photo-Ops Boards!

Lights, sirens, bits of hose or ladders, can be
added for a real effect.

Lettering is done with gold paint, resembling gold
leaf.  Photo-ops are constructed from marine
grade plywood, painted with oil-based enamels
and matte finished to prevent glare.

 Aaron's commemorative slate painted on an actual roofing
slate from the original Hellam Fire Company which, ironically,
burned down. The slate was mounted on a board because it
was quite  fragile.

VERY SPECIAL SLATE;
Below is a commemorative painted slate of Hellam Fire Company's engine 21-1.
On December 2, 2006 this engine will take Aaron Thomas for a ride. Aaron has
leukemia but he is one tough 7 year old who loves fire engines. God bless you,
Aaron. And thank you Chief Shawn Rohrbaugh, Nate Tracey and Wendy Tracey.
